People with shovels breaking ground on the new addition.

We are thrilled to announce the groundbreaking and launch of several major improvement projects across our district, marking an exciting new chapter for our schools and community.

At South Fremont High School, construction is now underway on a new Auxiliary Gym, Greenhouse, and CTE (Career and Technical Education) classrooms—facilities that will significantly expand hands-on learning and athletic opportunities for our students. Additionally, Ashton Elementary is receiving a much-needed upgrade with the installation of a new heating and air conditioning system to ensure a safe and comfortable environment year-round.

These projects are made possible largely thanks to the School Modernization Facilities funds allocated over the past year following the passage of House Bill 521 by the 2024 Idaho Legislature. We are deeply grateful to our school board, staff, and community members whose support and dedication helped bring these plans to life.

These improvements reflect our shared commitment to providing high-quality learning environments for all students. We look forward to the opportunities these new facilities will bring and the positive impact they will have for years to come.

Sincerely,

Dr. Brandon Farris

Superintendent
