Leadership Style: We are seeking a leader with a collaborative approach to education, who also has a vision of where he wants to go, and the experience to know what works and what doesn’t. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of fostering a positive and motivating culture within their school or district and will also be a great communicator (including the ability to listen).

Community Engagement:  While it will not be required for candidates to live within our district boundary, the importance of community engagement and the role of the Superintendent in building strong and healthy relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members is significant. The Superintendent will be expected to immerse themselves into the communities of the district. Gaining the trust of the community is paramount to the success of our district as we move forward.

Community Input: At Fremont County Joint School District (#215), we value the input of our community in important decisions. We regularly seek their input through surveys and community meetings. Candidates can expect opportunities to engage with community members during the selection process. If selected as a finalist, travel to Fremont County is expected to meet and greet with patrons and staff during a 2-day event, followed by final interviews.

 Compensation and Benefits: Salary range will be from $120K-$140K annually, and compensation will also include a benefits package. Factors for compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. We also reserve the right to leverage a potential one-time housing stipend as needed to attract the right candidate.
