When I reached my mid-thirties, I finally decided what I wanted to do when I grew up. Since earning my B.A. in 1995, I’ve spent my entire teaching career at South Fremont High School. Before then, I was a stay-at-home mom, part-time restaurant manager, and harvest truck driver on our farm. My husband, Darris, runs a cattle and farming operation in with his brother in Wilford. Jarris, Heidi, and Zach, our children, are grown and doing well. Teaching is my life, but I also love to travel; my favorite destination: New York City! I took up golf four years ago, and this summer broke 90!
