I graduated from American Falls High School in 1975 and received a Bachelor of Music degree from Idaho State University in 1979. I then started teaching band in the fall of 1979 at Bear Lake High School in Montpelier, Idaho, I then moved to Powell High School in Powell, Wyoming and then South Fremont High School. I received a Masters Degree in 1989 and an administrative endorsement in 2002. I married my high school sweetheart Janelle in 1976 and we have been married for 32 years. We have four children and five and a half grand children.
